The aim of all of our courses is to assist you to remain safe. It is as important for the crew to be trained as it is for the regular skipper.
Canal and river safety depends on you having a sufficient knowledge of waterway procedures and the practical ability to carry those procedures out. Make sure you are up to date on your skills before you next take to the water.

Training is given within the Royal Yachting Association schemes, but can also be offered on a less formal, non syllabus basis for those who do not wish to take certificate courses immediately or at all.
There may be an further small charge, in addition to the course fees, for travel beyond the Nottingham area. You can contact us to receive a quotation for travel to your area, but you will otherwise be advised when making a booking.
